"A baroque building reimagined in engineered timber," one of the timber construction projects of Bauhütte 4.0 member dRMM. The tour will occur on March 21, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. The historic Schleiermacherhaus, initially built in 1738 and destroyed after World War II, is currently being rebuilt as a sensitive new building. The design combines historic preservation with modern architecture and integrates the baroque property wall and the historic garden into the new building ensemble. During our tour, we will gain fascinating insights into the planning and construction process, challenges such as dealing with the original baroque property wall, and the future use of the building as a cultural institution. Date: Friday 21.03. 2025, 16:00 Uhr Location: Schleiermacherhaus, Glinkastraße, Berlin
